In a select group of patients, neck liposuction is a quick and easy solution for excess neck and submental fat. A good candidate has fat only in the subcutaneous (just beneath the skin) compartment and has good skin quality so that once it is emptied of the fat, it will contract and smooth around the new neck contour.
