There are times when the upper lids become so heavy that the patient's upper visual fields are compromised. This beautiful patient came in for upper lid surgery because she could barely see anymore. She felt that she was living her life looking through slits. She had an upper lid blepharoplasty and now her eyes are much more open and she can see everything.
