I am always so glad when younger patients who need breast reduction find their way in to have it done before they live their whole lives with large unruly breasts. This young lady who was 18 years old was already bothered by back, neck and shoulder pain. Her breasts were dense and heavy and uncomfortable. She came in for breast reduction and after she had the surgery, it motivated her to lose 20 pounds. She feels that this reset her life and made her go in a whole new direction with healthy eating habits and exercise. We did a bilateral breast reduction with removal of over 500 grams of breast tissue from each side.
