Breast Reduction Before & After Case 155
*Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.
Breast Reduction
Case Details
Breast reduction surgery has one of the highest satisfaction rates in all of plastic surgery. It has two functions. One is aesthetic; as you can see the overall balance of the smaller breast leads to a seemingly smaller and thinner overall appearance. The other is functional as many women with enlarged breasts suffer from back, neck and shoulder pain. In the vast majority of cases, reducing the size of the breasts relieves these symptoms.
This beautiful lady is just six weeks out from her bilateral breast reduction. She had over 500 grams of tissue removed from each breast and was reshaped to give a lift to her nipple and more pleasing round shape to her breasts. She is delighted with her new body and tells us that everyone is asking her how she lost all the weight when she has not lost any weight at all. She fits her clothes better and is wearing scrappy summer dresses for the first time since she can remember. She also has been able to liberalize her exercise routine because she is not dealign with the weight of her breasts and the subsequent back, neck and shoulder pain that comes with that.
We expect more great things to come from this reduction. As time goes by, these patients tend to lose more weight on their own and we see major transformations. We just couldn't wait to show this early result!!
