Bilateral breast reduction for a 19-year-old female.
This patient had a bilateral breast reduction. The method used was a central mound, T-closure.
This patient had a right sided breast cancer. She needed a large lumpectomy that would be followed by radiation. An Oncoplastic Breast Reduction was performed to prevent surgical and radiation deformities and to reconstruct her breasts in a symmetrical way. The right breast is left slightly larger in these cases because radiation will cause the breast on this side to shrink a bit.
